When Boise Met the Bonneville Salt Flats

One of our most memorable sessions came from a mama who made the trip all the way from Boise, Idaho. Adys traveled with her husband and their photographer, Good Earth Photo, and we met them at the iconic Bonneville Salt Flats for something truly unforgettable.


The Salt Flats are one of Utah's most surreal landscapes, flat white earth stretching to the horizon, big open sky, and light that photographers dream about. Add a glowing mama-to-be and a couple of alpacas, and the result is the kind of maternity gallery that stops people mid-scroll.


Adys has since welcomed her beautiful baby girl, and getting to be a small part of that chapter means everything.


What to Expect When You Book with Peppergrass Ranch

Peppergrass Ranch is based in Eagle Mountain, Utah, and we travel up to two hours from home, which opens up a huge range of stunning Utah locations for your session. From the Salt Flats to red rock backdrops to wide open valley views, Utah is made for this kind of photography.

  • Meet and Greet: A relaxed casual visit with Macaroni and Cheese. Perfect if you just want to experience without a full shoot.
  • Maternity Photoshoot: Bring your photographer or ask us for recommendations. We coordinate directly with your photographer to make sure the session flows smoothly.
  • Custom Experiences: Corporate events, elopements, birthday sessions, and more. If you have an idea, reach out.


Our alpacas, named Macaroni and Cheese, are well-traveled, well-socialized, and genuinely love people. They're calm around cameras, patient with posing, and have a way of making everyone on set completely forget they were nervous.
